Electronics Workshop #1 - Soldering Skills
We are holding an electronics workshop on the 30th April from 12:00 - 1:00pm, room TBA.
Mark Fowler, the Head Technician for Computing and Engineering, will be taking you through a 1 hour course covering the basics of soldering, how to do it properly and how to get a perfect joint every time. At the end of the workshop you will have a working flashing LED made from 6 components and have learn a usefull skill that will be needed in future subjects and employment.
Places are strictly limited to 10, so get in now and register, either by seeing us outside the Basement Cafe in 204 on Wednesday 11-1, or by Contacting the Commitee and providing your Name, Student number and Phone number.
IEEE Members get in for a $5 deposit, which is refunded at the end of the workshop. Non members pay $10 with a $5 refund at the end.
